Scindapsus treubii ‘Moonlight’, also known as Sterling Silver Pothos, is a stunning tropical houseplant known for its thick, smooth leaves with a soft silvery-green sheen. Its elegant foliage gives it a clean, modern look and makes it a beautiful choice for shelves, desks, plant stands, or bright indoor spaces.

Although commonly called a pothos, this plant is actually a Scindapsus. It has a similar easygoing nature and can be grown trailing from a pot or climbing with support.

Key Features:

Scindapsus treubii ‘Moonlight’ has a trailing or climbing growth habit and tends to grow more slowly than many common pothos varieties. With bright indirect light and steady care, it can develop longer vines and fuller growth over time.

Pet Friendliness:

This plant is not pet-friendly.  It contains calcium oxalates, which can be toxic if ingested by cats, dogs, and other pets. Keep it out of reach of pets and small children.

Care Instructions:

Light: Bright, indirect light is best to maintain its silvery colour. It can tolerate medium light, but growth may slow and the leaves may appear less vibrant. Avoid harsh direct sun.

Watering: Water when the top portion of soil has dried out. Do not allow the plant to sit in soggy soil.

Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity but adapts well to average indoor levels. Mist occasionally or place near a humidifier for optimal growth.

Temperature: Grows best in temperatures between 18–29°C. Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 13°C.

Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a blend of peat, perlite, orchid bark, and regular indoor potting soil.

Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding in fall and winter.

Pruning: Trim leggy vines to maintain a fuller shape and encourage bushy growth.
