Golden Pothos

Size and Growth:

The Golden Pothos can grow vines up to 6–10 feet long or more, making it ideal for hanging baskets, shelves, or as a climbing accent with support. With proper care, it grows quickly and can be pruned to maintain your desired length and shape.

Pet Friendliness:

The Golden Pothos is not pet-friendly. Its leaves contain insoluble calcium oxalates, which can cause irritation if ingested by cats or dogs. Place this plant out of reach of pets to keep them safe.

Care Instructions:

Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light but tolerates low-light conditions, making it suitable for almost any room. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which may scorch the leaves.

Watering: Allow the soil to dry out partially between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, while underwatering can cause leaves to wilt.

Humidity: Prefers average indoor humidity levels but can tolerate lower humidity. Occasional misting can keep it thriving in drier environments.

Temperature: Keep between 18-29°C. Protect from drafts and cold temperatures below 10°C.

Soil: Grows best in a well-draining potting mix. Use a mix designed for indoor plants.

Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced houseplant fertilizer once a month during spring and summer. Reduce feeding during fall and winter.
