Dischidia White Diamond is a trailing epiphyte with small, oval-shaped leaves edged in bright silvery-white variegation. Its clean, elegant look and compact vines make it perfect for shelves, hanging planters, or mounted displays. Native to tropical Asia, this low-maintenance beauty adds a light, airy feel to any indoor plant collection and thrives with minimal fuss.

Key Features:

Dischidia White Diamond grows slowly but steadily, trailing or cascading up to 1–2 feet (30–60 cm) over time. Its compact leaves and tidy vines make it a fantastic choice for smaller spaces or vertical décor.

Pet Friendliness:

Dischidia species are generally considered non-toxic to pets, though it's always best to discourage nibbling and monitor your pets around plants.

Care Instructions:

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate medium light, but strong filtered light brings out the best variegation. Avoid direct sun, which may scorch the leaves.

Watering: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. Dischidia prefer a light, even moisture but do not like to sit in soggy soil. Let excess water drain fully.

Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity. Performs well in kitchens, bathrooms, or near a humidifier.

Temperature: Keep between 18°C–27°C. Protect from drafts and avoid temperatures below 12°C.

Soil: Use a very well-draining, airy mix—ideally a cactus/succulent mix with added orchid bark or perlite for breathability.

Fertilizer: Feed monthly during the spring and summer with a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer. No feeding required in the winter.

Pruning: Trim leggy vines to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Easily propagated from stem cuttings in water or sphagnum moss.

Repotting: Repot only when necessary, typically every 2–3 years. Dischidia prefer being slightly root-bound.

Pro Tip: As an epiphyte, Dischidia doesn’t need deep soil. Try mounting it on bark or growing it in a shallow pot to mimic its natural growth habit.
