Size

The Anthurium pedatoradiatum 'Fingers' is a unique and eye-catching tropical plant named for its deeply lobed, finger-like leaves. Unlike other Anthuriums, this variety features dramatic split foliage with long, narrow segments that give it a bold, architectural look. Native to the rainforests of Central and South America, this climbing aroid makes a statement in any indoor plant collection while still being surprisingly easy to care for.

Size and Growth

Size: Anthurium pedatoradiatum 'Fingers' is a fast-growing climber that can reach 2–4 feet (60–120 cm) tall indoors with the right support.

Growth: It produces large, palmate leaves that become more divided and lobed as the plant matures. Give it a moss pole or trellis to encourage upward growth and larger leaf development.

Pet Friendliness

This plant is toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach of cats, dogs, and small children.

Care Instructions

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate medium light but grows best in bright conditions. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.

Watering: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Keep the soil evenly moist during active growth but never soggy. Reduce watering in the cooler months.

Humidity: Thrives in high humidity (60–80%). Use a humidifier, pebble tray, or regular misting to maintain optimal moisture levels.

Temperature: Keep between 18°C–27°C. Protect from cold drafts and avoid temperatures below 15°C.

Soil: Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix. Combine potting soil with orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir for proper aeration.

Fertilizer: Feed every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer with a diluted balanced liquid fertilizer. Pause feeding in fall and winter.

Pruning: Remove any yellow or damaged leaves at the base. Pruning also encourages new, healthy growth.

Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years or when root-bound.

Pro Tip: The more support you give your Anthurium pedatoradiatum 'Fingers', the larger and more dramatic its leaves will become. Try a moss pole to mimic its natural climbing habit.
